"James & Gelsey were the caterers for my wedding of 130 guests in July of 2017.  They did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job.  I met James through a mutual friend before he and Gelsey officially launched Lovely Night and I am so glad that I did.  I am a sommelier and the food was incredibly important to me.  My guests ranged from BBQ-loving Texans, to meat and potato only midwesterners, to Seattle restaurant owners and sommeliers, and they were all impressed.  When my husband and I were going around to tables and greeting everyone we stopped to chat w/ my parents.  My Dad has never liked salmon, until this meal!"

James planned and built out an entire outdoor kitchen at our venue which had almost nothing to offer them in terms of cooking resources. Gelsey planned an outstanding service experience and was incredibly organized and thoughtful with every little detail. 

Not to mention the most important part...the food was OUTSTANDING! The portions were generous and everyone truly raved about every single dish, from the super creative hors d'oeuvres, to the light summery salads, to the seasonal PNW main courses. We got so many "best wedding food I've ever had" comments that we couldn't count them all!"
